Mutants Detected Part 3: X-Factor

Hi, folks! Work has been eating up a lot of my time these past couple of weeks which is why I haven’t posted as often as I’d like. Apologies for that. Hopefully, the coming weeks will be less hectic and I can get back to regular updates. For now, let’s have another Squad Goals feature. Let’s take a look at another iconic mutant squad from the X-men universe, X-Factor.

X-Factor is probably my second favorite X-men team right after the Blue Team. Led by Mr. Knock-off Cyclops himself, Havok and co-leader Forge, X-Factor is a government-sponsored mutant team put together to demonstrate humans and mutants can work together. The team’s roster is pretty interesting. It features Polaris, Havok’s love interest who can control magnetic fields just like her dad, Magneto. Speedster Quicksilver who’s another Magneto spawn is also part of the team. Then there’s Multiple Man who can create self-aware duplicates of himself. There’s Strong Guy who’s the team’s muscle. Last but certainly not the least, we have the fierce wolf lady Wolfsbane.

It’s pretty cool how X-Factor is becoming relevant again with their appearance in the latest season of X-men ’97. I really wish we get a Val Cooper fig soon. Please make it happen, Hasbro!
