Hi, folks! Welcome to Fight Night! Tonight’s showdown features two fierce rivals from the Yu Yu Hakusho series. It’s Yusuke Urameshi versus Kazuma Kuwabara!

Yusuke Urameshi is a school delinquent who becomes a spirit detective after sacrificing his life to save a young boy from a traffic accident. In the afterlife, he meets Koenma, the ruler of Spirit World who sees his potential and recruits him to protect the living and spirit worlds. Kazuma Kuwabara, Yusuke’s rival, is a fellow delinquent in school. Like Yusuke, he also gets in trouble and fights his way through his enemies. He frequently challenges Yusuke to a fight even though he always gets beaten. Although initially Yusuke looks down on Kuwabara, his opinion changes when Kuwabara unexpectedly saves his life by helping to revive him.

I’ve always wondered what would happen if these guys fought each other. Yusuke would undoubtedly beat Kuwabara to a pulp in a straight-up fist fight. What I’m really curious about is how the battle would unfold if they used their spirit techniques. If I remember correctly, we never actually saw that happen in the show.

I can imagine Kuwabara using his Spirit Sword to deflect Yusuke’s Spirit Gun. Or perhaps Yusuke breaking through Kuwabara’s defense with his Spirit Shotgun. That would be epic! In the end, Yusuke would likely win but it would still be one helluva fight to witness.
