Welcome to Fight Night! This is a new blog section where we pit action figures against each to just for the heck of it. We’ve all dreamed of epic match-ups and here we’ll bring those battles to life. Whether it’s a fierce showdown between long time rivals or a wild fantasy clash of unexpected characters, anything goes. Think of it as a “what if” event that will definitely test my skills as an amateur toy photographer. haha I really hope I can pull it off!
For tonight’s match-up, it’s a friendly sparring match between Street Fighter legends Ryu and Ken. Lifelong friends and rivals, they have been exchanging fists since their days as students of the Ansatsuken master, Gouken.
Introduced in the series as fighters cut from the same cloth (but different color palettes due to technical limitations back in the day hehe IYKYK), these two have evolved from noobs with identical movesets to iconic legends with unique fighting styles tailored to their individual strengths. Ryu has a more defensive style and makes use of range and spacing to contain his opponent while Ken relies on his aggressive tactics for direct attacks.
Who do you think would win in a no holds barred fight between these two?
