Mission Complete! Waifu’s Boba Cup Fan Minifig acquired!

The Waifu and I are huge fans of LEGO’s Collectible Minifigure Series (CMS). She actually gave me my very first CMS figs back when we were just dating back in the late 2000s. These are Series 1 figs which she bought from Taiwan since we didn’t have them here back then. Now that LEGO has just released Series 29, I knew I had to get her the Boba Cup Fan minifig.
The CMS line is an excellent source of minifig parts and accessories and it has helped bring to life my minifig mix and match projects over the years. In the Waifu’s case, she loves collecting them mascot minifigs and she has a dozen of those. Fortunately, our LEGO Certified Store (LCS) at Ayala Malls Vermosa is well-stocked and I was able add another piece to her collection.
In addition to the Boba Cup Fan for the Waifu, I picked up a couple of figs that I plan to chop soon. I got the Goalkeeper with the new hair piece and Monster Hunter which has that new ‘gunblade’ accessory. Too bad the Unicorn Elf is out of stock since it’s parts would have been perfect for my 128 Figs of Destiny project. It’s really a great time to be a LEGO fan these days!
